As a Kar-Ché learner you will be trained on state-of-the-art equipment which will give you the experience and versatility you need to succeed in the esthetics industry.   

Machines include: Microdermabrasion, PBE Non-Surgical Face Lift, Galvanic and High Frequency Current, analytical equipment like the Skin Scope and Wood's Lamp. 

Microdermabrasion-"Smart Peel Skin Exfoliation System"
Microdermabrasion is a progressive, non-invasive treatment that propels natural mineral crystals onto the surface of the skin for gentle epidermal abrasion thus revealing fresher, newer, healthier looking skin.  

Microdermabrasion is recommended for uneven granular skin with sun damage.  Enlarged pores with blackheads, fine lines and wrinkles, minor acne scars; and narrow stretch marks. Microdermabrasion works on improving skin texture and restoring the skin elasticity and clarity. After Microdermabrasion, your skin feels fresh, tight, and well oxygenated. Non-Surgical Face Lift-"Photo Bio Electronics Visage Machine"
Non-Surgical Face Lift is a procedure designed to lift and tone facial skin by using low electrical impulses to gently stimulate the skin, thus exercising and strengthening facial muscles.  

Non-Surgical Face Lift procedures restore the skin's tone by increasing skin circulation and metabolism, improving facial muscle contractility, diminishing fine lines and increasing hydration and nourishment of the skin. Galvanic Current
Galvanic current provides a useful method for the skin care therapist to deep clean the tissue and cause chemical changes in acneic skin. Benefits include: cleaning the pores, normalizing and balancing the skin, and improving the function and texture of the skin.

High Frequency Current
The primary functions of high frequency is its physical disinfectant after extractions which acts as a germicidal /antibacterial aid. Benefits include increasing relaxation and the prevention of water blisters after waxing.

Skin Scope-"Skin Scanner F-1"
An elaborate magnifying lamp used primarily for analyzing the skin. The one way magnifying mirror scans the skin while allowing the guest to see his /her skin's reflection. This lighted mirror aids in seeing certain skin conditions such as:  dehydration, pigmentation, comedones, etc.

Wood's Lamp
The Wood's lamp uses deep violet rays to expose skin conditions that normally are not visible to the naked eye. These different skin conditions show up in varied shades of violet. Examples: Dehydrated skin shows up as light violet, while hydrated skin is bright fluorescent violet. The Wood's lamp helps in the analysis of these skin conditions: Thick skin vs. Thin Skin, Horny layer of skin and dead cells, Normal and healthy skin, Oily areas of the face, and Sun damage, pigmentation and future age spots.
